Powerful and healing
Psychedelics are discussed in media and become mainstream
If you've found your way here, you've probably seen a number of the documentaries or talks about psychedelics found on Netflix, YouTube, and other similar platforms. Or maybe you have gone a step further and read research papers, studies, or books about psychedelics and how they can take personal development to a completely different level - and, above all, at a completely different pace. (If you haven't explored what's out there, feel free to click on the links you find under the "Links & info" tab.)
In your research, you have likely been intrigued and amazed at the healing power of psychedelic experiences, but also certainly been reassured when you have found out that they don't come with chemical/physical addictions. In addition, you have probably also realized that it is becoming more and more mainstream to explore one's inner self with the help of psychedelic treatments/substances, and that it is not long now before most forms are legalized (already underway in the USA) .
4000 Veckor exists so that you also can explore the psychedelic world in a safe and secure way, and make that deeper, inner journey you are curious about through one of the means described below.
"With psilocybin, we discover that we do not have to look outward towards the futile promise of life that circles distant stars in order to still our cosmic loneliness. We should look within; the paths of the heart lead to nearby universes full of life and affection for humanity.”
- Michael Pollan
Why do we seek solutions in the psychedelic world?
What psychoactive substances and psychedelic experiences have in common is that they take us to a place beyond words. How do you describe the feeling you get when you've witnessed a magic trick and have no idea how it happened?
Maybe we can't describe what happens and how it happens, but the effects are all the easier to demonstrate. Exploring the world of psychedelics has been shown to be effective in the treatment of many different things, such as addiction problems, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, etc, and even "cured" the fear of death in patients at the end of life. Many of us can confirm how psychedelic experiences have allowed us to gain a better relationship with what awaits us all when our approximately 4000 weeks have passed.
What are the psychedelic "drugs"?
There are several different ways to create psychedelic experiences, so the means are many. So-called "mind expanding experiences" can be created in countless ways, such as through breathing, music, drumming, heat, cold, singing, etc, but also through legal psychedelic substances and psychedelic substances that have not yet been legalized, such as the classic four below:
-
LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide)
-
DMT (dimethyltryptamine; the active substance in Ayahuasca)
-
Mescaline (associated with the peyote cactus)
-
Psilocybin (mushroom or truffle)
Some also include MDMA (ecstasy) as a psychedelic substance, however it is not technically a hallucinogen (MDMA has produced amazing results in the treatment of PTSD, among other things).
"The cave you fear to enter
holds the treasure you seek."
-Joseph Campbell
Bad trips?
The goal isn't to make you feel BETTER.
The goal is to make you FEEL better.
Absolutely, it happens that it gets a little difficult sometimes. Not all kinds of psychedelic experiences are for everyone, and there are many ways to get oneself to altered states of consciousness. Some may find the almost psychedelic states induced by powerful breathwork overwhelming, while others might encounter vivid memories or things they did not necessarily expect when they have ingested any of the substances mentioned above.
But, isn't it so in life that the finest insights are often discovered beyond a bit of discomfort?
The blue sky is always up there, but - as we all know - as the airplane tries to break through the cloud cover it sometimes gets a bit bumpy...
No one can KNOW in advance what will happen, as no one can actually KNOW what insights your amazing inner healing compass chooses to give you. It is "common knowledge" that psychedelic experiences tend to give you what you need, not always necessarily what you want, and that is precisely the difference between the expectation and the actual experience which sometimes is experienced as stressful and unpleasant for some. That is why it is so important to adapt the trip itself to your particular conditions so that you can relax and feel as safe as possible before and during your psychedelic trip, as well as to have thorough discussions about expectations and intentions.
(If you happen to go through an experience that you want to process with professional help, there are psychologists available who have an understanding of psychedelic integration.)
ATTENTION! Psychedelics are still not legal in Sweden.
I do not encourage anyone to take illegal substances nor can I assist with the acquisition of these. If, despite these urges, you want to explore different psychedelic experiences, 4000 Veckor is here to give you the best experience imaginable.
